Hortus21 is easy to operate and maintain. Use the following to guide you through the setup and operational process:
INSTALL CHARGING STATION
Place the rugged, outdoor, and weatherproof docking station in your yard or garden and plug it into an electrical outlet. This will serve as the home base and re-charging station for Hortus21.
Ensure that you have placed it near an electrical outlet and use proper extension cords if needed. The docking station is best installed in a flat area where Hortus21 has direct access to your lawn or garden without obstacles.

ADVANTAGES
SMART NAVIGATION
Hortus 21 creates and follows routes to cover the area that was designated for weed removal by the user. Safety is always a priority for the robot, so it keeps an eye out for pets and people, making sure nobody is nearby when it removes weeds.
AUTONOMOUS
The robot has a high-capacity battery onboard that allows it to run for up to 3 hours without charging. It always keeps enough charge to return to the docking station for a quick recharge before continuing its current job.
CLOUD BRAIN
Most of the processing is done by the robot’s docking station, which connects to our cloud-based system for work planning and analysis. You control the tasks and targets for your Hortus21 through the app, identifying boundaries for your yard or garden and which plants to keep or destroy.
SMART AI
Our robot learns over time and adapts to its work environment. Hortus21 responds to the boundaries you program and learns how to traverse the terrain and scan for weeds. Through its database, it is able to identify most kinds of plants for you to decide whether to keep or eliminate each plant. Once a plant is identified as a weed, Hortus21 learns how to best identify, drill, and remove each plant.
EFFECTIVE
Hortus 21 targets the root system of the weed to destroy the plant entirely. Once the auger drill bit penetrates the ground, the sharp blades rotate at a high speed to shred the roots and minimize the ability of the plant to grow back.
ECO-FRIENDLY
Unlike conventional weed removal methods, our robot does not utilize any chemicals or heat to eliminate unwanted plants. The entire process is mechanical, which leads to a healthy and weed-free lawn and garden.
COMPACT
Our robot and its charging station are compact and much smaller than other lawn and garden care equipment.
AUTOMATION
The chassis and docking station are universal and can take a variety of adaptable options with after-market parts. These options include a different drill bit, bigger wheels, larger batteries, and extra lighting for work in the dark.
